The health and safety of our customers & our team is always our top priority, and we are strictly enforcing COVID protocols at The Jar.
We have taken many extra precautions within the store. In addition to managing capacity, offering touchless hand sanitizer stations, plexiglass barriers, directional signage, and ensuring staff and customers wear masks at all times, we also check & log our employees’ temperatures every morning, have increased ventilation (air purifiers & fans) and are regularly sanitizing all surfaces/touchpoints.
We are offering many options for you to conveniently and comfortably shop with us! We’ve outlined these different options below:
IN-STORE SHOPPING GUIDELINES:
The store is open Tues. – Sat. We are managing capacity using a basket/cart system. When you arrive, you’ll be asked to sanitize your hands at the door (using lovely Sootsoap sanitizer) & grab a basket or cart for your groceries. If there aren’t any available at the front, please wait outside until a customer leaves and we place a freshly sanitized basket/cart at the front for you to use.
You can continue to order groceries from the comfort of your home and pick them up in-store (we have a contactless pick-up area in what used to be our dining room) or have them delivered to your doorstep every Friday.
You can order in-store or pre-order online and find your order in the contactless pick-up area when you get here! We won’t be reopening the dining room for a while, but we do have some tables out front for the summer. You don’t need to grab a basket/cart to order food inside, just head to the counter and place your order.
